I just finished watching Bones Season 1 Episode 13 “The Woman In The Garden” and it starts out with the suspect being in one of the most popular gangs. He was transporting a set of remains that was recently dug up. While they were at the car of the suspect part of the gang that the suspect was in did a shooting drive by and the suspect got away. Booth started chasing him but I don’t understand why he didn’t shoot the suspect in the leg to get him to stop? Booth threatened to shoot him but he didn’t he just let him climb the fence and run away. Can cops shoot suspects or the criminal if they are running away from them? I think they should be able to because if they do shoot them they could also be saving somebody’s life. The suspect or criminal could be headed to go kill somebody else and try and get away with that murder too.
The leader of the gang was being interrogated and he said something to Brennan that she didn’t like and so she left. She was waiting for the elevator when he came up to her and said some more things to her and then he touched her arm to move her and she hit him in the face. Booth did warn him not to touch her but it was too late. That’s when he tried to hit her back. Right then is when he made a mistake because men should not hit women. Men are a lot stronger than women so they might think that they aren’t hitting as hard as they are hitting. Well they shouldn’t be hitting women in the first place. Men hitting women is domestic violence or assault depending on if they know each other or not.
