Emily Deschanel
Role: Dr. Temperance Brennan "Bones"
Temperance Brennan "Bones" is an anthropologist, forensic anthropologist, and a kinesiologist that works at the Jeffersonian Institution. She solves crimes by analyzing the bones, evidence, and with the help of her wonderful co-workers. She helps Agent Booth interrogate some of the suspects.
T. J. Thyne
Role: Jack Hodgins
Jack Hodgins is a forensic entomologist, forensic botanist, forensic mineralogist, forensic palynologist, and a forensic chemist. He is responsible for estimating time of death, and examining trace evidence and particulates, during an investigation.
Carla Gallo
Role: Daisy Wick
Daisy Wick is one of the interchanging interns. She helps Brennan with the victim. She helps analyze and look for anything on or in the bones after she gets them cleaned off.
David Boreanaz
Role: Special Agent Seeley Booth
Special Agent Seeley Booth is a FBI agent in the homicide department. He interrogates the people that are suspects, friends, family, or have anything to do with the victim. If he has to he will chase, shoot, or arrest anybody that does not cooperate with the law.
Tamara Taylor
Role: Camille Saroyan "Cam"
Camille Saroyan "Cam" is a pathologist and the Head of the Forensic Division at Jeffersonian Institute. Cam consentrates on the evidence pertaining to flesh, tissue, and body fluids, while working on a case. She also sometimes provides insight into possible cause of death.
Ryan O'Neal
Role: Max Keenan
Max Keenan is Temprance Brennan's father. He was a careered criminal. He would disappear after committing a crime and wouldn't come back until he knew it was safe. After returning ,from leaving for several years, is now part of Temperance's life.
Michaela Conlin
Role: Angela Montenegro
Angela Montenegro is a classically trained artist involved in forensic reconstruction. She takes the skull of the victim and puts a name to it using the technology that she has. She also puts ruined letters, broken computers, and flashdrives back to life. So they can get the evidence that they need from it to solve the investigation.
John Francis Daley
Role: Dr. Lance Sweets "Sweets"
Dr. Lance Sweets is a FBI psychologist. Sweets is a trained profiler and has assisted Booth and Brennan, finding dull lab-work, new and exciting. He sometimes interrogates the suspects for Booth, to get a different point of view of the suspect. He also goes to some of the crime scenes to analyze for insight into a suspect.
Eric Millegan
Role: Dr. Zack Addy
Zack Addy starts out as Brennan's assistant, while still going for his doctorate in Forensic Anthropology. After he gets is doctorate he does what Brennan and sometimes what Hodgins does.
Michael Grant Terry
Role: Wendell Bray
Wendell Bray is one of the interchanging interns, like Daisy Wick. He helps Brennan analyze the bones, looking very carefully not to miss anything. He also helps Hodgins with experiments that Hodgins does!
Patricia Belcher
Role: Caroline Julian
Caroline Julian is a prosecuter and works in the U.S. Attorney's office. She helps Booth while in interrogation and in court. She has a very demanding and bossy attitude that even Brennan doesn't want to argue with her.
